Theo completed a Bachelor of Communications, majoring in Media Art and Production, at the University of Technology (UTS) Sydney in 2005 and in 2010 completed a Graduate Certificate in Documentary at the Australian Film Television and Radio School (AFTRS). Establishing Transition Films in 2006 Theo consolidated his skills and interests in the media and began to build a reputation for providing high quality and reliable services to the media industry.

While at UTS he completed a half hour doco called "Scenes from a Milk Crate" about a theatre group that works with and performs stories from the homeless community in Sydney. Previous to this he also completed a number of short films that tell personal stories within a social or political context. They include "Far from somewhere, far from Safsaf" and "The Last Kosher Butcher".

Theo spent five years working in the theatre industry and has also worked to develop and perform plays in his native Greek language.

He also worked as a photographer, designer and Account Manager in the Graphic Design and Printing industry for over eight years.

Theo's focus as a documentary filmmaker is to make films that give an in-depth view into people's lives, painting a picture that helps us to understand a little more about who we are, where we've been and where we are going. In 2006 Theo started production on his first feature length documentary, "Touching Palestine" (currently in post production). He also completed a short film, "The Secret Bar" and is developing more ideas for future projects.

Theo is passionate about building honest and genuine relationships which reflect the honesty and truth in his work. Forever keen to go the extra mile he is dedicated to capturing images that help to tell a compelling story.
